So how does the Fed cause inflation?

They hatch to many of their little ones for the little ones we sire. At least that's what my parents told me. :D

The last time I saw this much school girl giddiness was last year about this time with another couple of percent down day. So much out right gloom. May be I should stop check in here so much. Day trading you gotta go with the flow. Long term you gotta go with the flow on a weekly. Everyones so...

    $8k to $80k in '08

AaaaHHHH! The power of compounding. It always quickens the blood. The part that stings the nostrils is the one point a day with losing myself out of the game. That can be a bit sticky and tricky. I hope the OP has a nice consistant method that pulls it in every day at least on average. I have...

    Diamond Top - Dow 30

Um Maybe. I was under the impression chart patterns can fail. Sometimes they are also in the Eye of the beholder. I see a symmetrical triangle forming. Now what does that mean in a long term uptrend? Trade your plan and keep your stop in. :D

Listen to JimmyJam, he REALLY knows you know

Interesting read so far. Kind of like what AustinP wrote about but with less risk built in. I'm interested to see where you are now as we have both been around a bit. I got bogged down with other things and discouraged myself. I am trying to rebuild some self confidence and regenerate the vision...

Hey Apex, Quick question: What do you consider a reversal bar? Is it just a break above the previous bar or does the bar have a certain structure? Gracie. JIM

85% of traders dont understand trading.

There's a difference between a trader that tries to find a general movement and find a way to enter and exit that movement in a successful way, and a trader who finds a movement and tries to enter in the opposite direction. Some are able to do it. Apex from the ES thread seems to be able to keep...

    Credit Card Debt increasing quickly.....

:D Now we're thinkin! I actually get an extra couple of weeks interest on my Money and the rewards to. If you want to use cash go ahead but don't knock people who can nickel and dime the system that always seems to do the opposite to their customers. :)

    Credit Card Debt increasing quickly.....

Pay your taxes and take out the inflation for the year that the money is tied up and what is your return even at the 5% we made last year? When I look at my inflation not the Gov data, my savings seem to be wilting even though I keep saving and the numbers go up.

    Credit Card Debt increasing quickly.....

I'm with ya. I have to spend the money any way one way or the other for food, gas..... I pay off every month in full and get a couple hundred a year back on what I spend. Better than what I get in interest on the money in money market. So my dollar is worth 1.01 to 1.05 depending on what I've...

    Simple Trend Trading?

Well! I heard it was overpriced drivel you can get from one of a dozen threads on here for free. A really good friend of mine told me to stay away. That was seconded by a call to the President on the Ellen show. :D

Give advice to a young buck...

You seem to have the perfect place to get your capital together. Why not save some money while you work and study at home. Think of it as an extra year or two of college that at the end of you will have and account and some wisdom. Trade some evening markets. Do some long term strategies and you...

What is the best country to leave the US for?

Interesting. Your willing to throw away the US for destinations unknown, revoking citizenship, on the currently held belief the US is in dire straights. All Rats jump ship:D. Now that's what I call being married to a position! Go forth and conquer. I hope, if you have children, you will...

What is the best country to leave the US for?

From your previous commentary I expect you to stay short the dollar until my children are burned. Otherwise, I'll be very offended and disappointed in your vision and ability to predict the future. Have some BALLS stay short until the dollar goes to zero. If that wasn't a serious point of view...

What is the best country to leave the US for?

I see decay in this country. Many of the same ideas you dislike about it I do as well. Wish and hope it doesn't take something like the Great Depression and World Wars to change the mentality. I however would put you into the category of decay. Been around higher education for going on 14 years...
