where does that put prop firms?

I don't think the emergency funds really count towards QE, as they're really meant to bail out depositors, not necessarily make money easier to borrow, which is the core function of QE. Yes, the bank balance sheet increased, but it's not adding to the money supply any more than what's already...

    Is ES rigged?

There's a really good chat with traders podcast of a forex trader who talk about stop hunts. His answer is yes, it's rigged and manipulated. More so forex but seeing how index futures are a close second in liquidity, similar things likely happen. But idk what they do in those big buildings.

    Is ES rigged?

Don't quite understand this. You trying to say KISS methods work. Complex quant methods work. But those who try to make sense of everything trying to outsmart the market get screwed?

Does it matter what those losses are now that the fed is guaranteeing depositors and the banks can just hold those bonds to maturity?

It would be nice if you'd be willing to share some screenshots of your trades on the chart, along with the setups, entries, exits.

es is being pulled in 2 different directions right now. rty is hurting from likely not just the bank runs but also other things that are broken under the hood from rising interest rates, and nq is being held up by a few megacaps, all of which look pretty extended to me. I also don't think we get...

how is crypto going to respond to the end of the QE era?

You're saying as if 300% global debt/gdp is somehow sustainable and the right tragectory. Sure, they can choose to delay it, but i think we see the next lost decade as a result of this, sooner or later.

how is crypto going to respond to the end of the QE era?

After saving the economy and market from the 2008 GFC, QE has turned from the over prescribed pain killer into a full blown opioid crisis. We're starting to see the consequences now of a decade long reckoning where everyone enjoyed cheap money and malinvestments with little consequences. But...

Crash Monday? SVB contagion, VIX spike

Fed is backstopping the panic. and I would guess that their emergency meeting on Monday is going to be about how to make the startups that had their money with SVB whole. It shouldn't be the case that the recklessness of one bank is the cause of the death sentence of a bunch of silicon valley...

    Grayscale vs SEC

maybe just do a little more digging. https://cryptoslate.com/greyscale-holds-635k-btc-as-coinbase-custody-reveals-holdings/ and before going off on some tangent about how they're probably corrupt like all the other crypto platforms, know that they have whopping 2% management fee on over $16B...

    Grayscale vs SEC

Anyone following the court case between Grayscale and SEC? It's so ridiculous to me that we have to go to court over this charade. Having a spot ETF would've protected investors from FTX, Celcius, and these so called stable coins which we're learning might actually not be so stable with this SVB...

nasdaq russell held support and sp500 held 50dMA, other individual megacap names showed seller exhaustion or healthy pull back type of price action. don't see a reason to be bearish, unless we test those prior week lows again. but would like to see more retracement of the 2/21 candle tomorrow...

I think that surge in nasdaq was nvda earnings. for whatever reasons, their announcement came way late in the day. surprising to see it having such a big effect on the market though, maybe because liquidity is lower the further you get away from RTH

yea I'm not completely convinced of the long side either. but the reactions from the bullard comments seem more like a pull back than a potential reversal.

assuming your take profit in the blue zone above? seems like we're due to break this sideways range sooner or later and if we break to the upside, 4300 is likely next level before we see a major retracement.

everything on all time frames? I'm inclined to agree with schizo that swing trading/investing is less affected by the algos.
