It hit the top of an uptrend channel so needs physical displacement before the next higher highs. This is usually done by burning time going down and sideways, then trend resumes and the process repeats itself; until the trend changes of course :D

Could be just luck that he never traded during a meaningful correction. Take 2013 for instance, imagine using leverage and averaging, the year never gave a hard correction, for a bull averaging down, he got out of alive by sheer luck.

No Doji, I think going long or short once a trader has studied enough price action is not a hard task, the hard task is knowing when not to trade, how to avoid the bad action that is impossible to escape in daytrading; I see no discussion about this in forums, ever. Funny enough this never...

Many times when we hear what we don't want to hear, we get defensive, so I understand where you are coming from. You see, a "Hindsight Expert" will have a multiple ways of telling you how and what you should have done when something moved. Problem is not trading something that moved...
