Hello, I am going to continue where I left off. When I left this, I had multiple trades open that I forgot about, then closed out. Hence the loss off around -$200. So, here we go. I opened 6 trades Friday and 3 more today. Still targeting around 12% per year, with around -0.75% drawdown.

It does not matter if the broker offers zero leverage, this can be achieved by position size.

The average daily % move across the most trade pairs is about 0.60% Theoretically, with a $10,000 account you could make $60 off one trade within a 24hr seasion. Yearly that is a massive % gain, with compounding huge.

To settle the score, this account was traded/ re-balanced daily for 64 days. End result was A.P.Y. +11.6% Max DD -0.5%

Maybe I can contact Oanda and have them re-write the software to let me trade lower than current minimum of 10:1 leverage? Either way, total account value is still 1:1, so risk is still zero leverage regardless of a discrepancy in fees/ commission.

I have been asking myself how will these coexist? Will these all trade in tandem without us noticing anything has changed? Obviously the world of fiat is developing and has progressed to the point where these new technologies are forcing traditional banking and finance to adopt them. But, will...

That does not make sense to me. I would agree using higher leverage takes better management skills, but returning any gain is a feat in itself.

Once again it matters where you live and how much money you need. If you have a small account, live somewhere you can live off $10 a day :)

Leverage is great if you are completely off the grid as in crypto in a cold wallet. The debate is more about what size your account is and how much you need to live off.

I agree, but there are other reasons to use leverage besides increasing your account balance.

The best platform for scalping would obviously be the one with the smallest spread and hopefully low commission.
