axehawk, If some firms pay out 100% how does the firm itself make money? Do they just rely on commissions ... making the firm just a "fancy broker" where you can do bullets, etc? There has to be some catch to those 100% pay out firms. Brutus

I heard someone a while back say that when you use the TWS API to submit trades you still have to do a manual confirmation of some sort before the trade goes through. Is this still true? If this is true, it seems to me the ability to mechanically auto-execute trades with API becomes impossible...

Another easy way to get the data is to use a FTP client and FTP to ftp.cme.com using an anonymous login. The data is in the /pub directory. This way you can download multiple files quickly. Brutus
