    Trade Station is far worse than IB

    I use TS 8.2 (Build 3863) , TS 8.3 ( Build 1355) on two CPU's and I agree with Anek that I rarely see TS freezes anymore. I have 4 GB RAM/Dual Core CPUs and run 4 TS workspaces and a Dozen or so charts with atleast 5-6 indicators per chart, RS scans using extensive Mathematical pattern...

    Triangles ect.

    I agree with 'Efficiency' about contracting or expanding ATR to signify triangles... Also the breakout near APEX provides excellent trading opportunities. Intra-day, markets do provide plenty of opportunities to trade using Triangle patterns... Triangles are classified as Symmetric...

    I agree with Osorico.. Most Patterns can be formed in any time-frames... However, the validity of a pattern may depend on its size, shape and market conditions. On the other hand, Patterns based on Event based conditions (like Gaps) are only effective during daily (mostly) sessions. Regards...
