My buddies in Europe are all about prorealtime. I think you can trade European Futures and CFDs, and also US Futures.

My smaller YM "time frame" chart is a 250 ticks. From 9:30 to 4pm Est, it takes between 2 seconds and 3 minutes to form a new candle. I think it is much easier to feel the momentum of the market. Regarding the smaller time frames, you would probably need to have smaller stop and limit sizes...

The US stock market is closed today. Not easy to trade intraday the Equity Futures. I am off too.

I think you could check real time YM charts, when trading the DBF or CFD, for your real time analysis and decision to go long or short. I know, the problem is real time CBOT data for the YM is needed and not free. With all CBOT data you can have data for US treasuries: This is not the thread...

My 1st long was at 31316 at 10:37 and 2nd at 31334 at 10:56 (I missed my initial limit at 31368) and then exit at 31344 (limit).

I was long

(31326 was my stop.) Exit now at 31344 :)

Exit soon at 31344 or trail stop at 31226 (Bk+1) and then done for the day

I like this Friday. More predictable than usual.. So far. Hope to exit my long at 31368 and stop trading for the day.

I am almost at breakeven after agonizing from 12:16 to 12:45.. And back at 3:10. Not a great day for me. I really didn't lose big, but it was tiring.

You are right. Options and Futures markets are regulated and really protected (for the CME and members) in the US.

My 3 YM charts ==> 60 min (trend for the past few days) 15min (moves intra day) and 250 tick Heiken-Ashi bars (nervousness and established levels). DBF = UK Spread betting :) I just checked, I didn't know. I really don't know how a DBF is calculated.
