I own 4 dell 2405 lcd's, the native resolution is 1920x1200, and must say they are nice screens. I have never enjoyed my workspace more.... I havn't had a losing day since I set them up :)

Taxes are going to take a chunk of your returns, it is very difficult for someone to stick with something for a few months, let alone 100 years, IMO! Ask yourself, could you stay the course, earning a measly $80 a year, and keep up with it year after year?

Take excel, and run the numbers, then create a graph of the function and you will see what happens in the first 100 years and what happens after that. The question remains, where are you going to get 8% on an that much money?

When I first started trading, I had a similar problem, I fixed it by increasing the screen refresh rate on my crt's. 75mhz or better is what worked for me. This worked for 4 years. Recently, I just upgraded my crt's to lcd's and have been very happy with their performance.

Why don't you share some of your "acceptable" numbers with us? Trading is about making money, that's the goal. Who cares how much money you use to make it. I bet lescor probably has around 50k up, so he is making 8% on his money in a single day and you can't argue with that return at all.

Today, my fill was 25 BP better than I would have gotten on the E-mini, Fridays fill was 20 BP better than the emini. So far, the pit traded contract is proving superior on the fills. Not enough data yet, to make a decision one way or the other!
