Probably an up day. S&P500 just bounced off its weekly moving average and support. Trading in a rectangle. It will probably break through to the upside to new yearly highs up to 1050ish. Then trade sideways between the 200 day moving average and 1050 for a while.

It seems like bonds and currencies are geared more toward position traders entering off of daily or weekly signals and trailing a moving average stop loss. 1-3 day swings doen't seem as consistent as with equity indexes and the markets seem too choppy or illiquid for daytrading or scalping...

I only buy the index when it goes up and I only short the index when it goes down. If it doesn't go up after I buy or down after I short it - then I climb in a worm-hole, go back in time and undo the trade before I enter it. It simple really.

I do think a lot of the problems Qcharts has had are related to freeloaders over taxing the system. They have a nice product, but reliability has been their serious Achilles heel.
