What are the ones you like or dislike?
Nothing to do with distraction or stress. The guy made a prudent decision at the time as a trader. I would do the same except save 10 lots as a lottery ticket. Think about the other 100 occasions that you don't close the position and watch all the pennies down the drain.
Here is what I learn from Bezos through a trader's lens:
Place multiple bets despite uncertainty and imperfect setup; take the bet off quickly and accept defeat when proven wrong (e.g. fire phone and 2nd headquarter); make the adjustment quickly when warranted (e.g. reducing wholefood price)...
