I section the chart off in sessions and I go back month by month and test that way. I go as far as the data will let me go back. I noticed that this method works in all market conditions.

Based on Volume and Momentum, I'd say that is a pretty good observation.

This is why I trade currencies with a cap on losses and when I do trade spot forex I make sure I use an in-out strategy. This is exactly why I prefer Nadex.
