Everything aside, doesn't IB give credits for executed trades in Eurex that counterbalance the debits for cancelled orders? So that if you cancel once or twice and then get filled it all evens out and you pay nothing? Def?

    IBRApp, a trading simulator

Just put out a new beta version. Minor changes, mostly, but notably support for Mac OS X has been added to the installer. I have no means to test Mac OS X, so any OS X users who are interested, give it a try! http://www.cicleworks.com/ibrapp.html Actively testing the realtime trading...

TradeStation 7 Released & New Lower Commissions

I upgraded specifically for OptionStation, and I think it's pretty cool. I also use pretty standard indicators so that's fine too. But I was pissed when uninstalling TS6 took out some of the strategies I had written...uninstalling should NOT take out user-created files!

    IBRApp, a trading simulator

I had been under the impression that IB simulated stop orders required the election price to be hit in order for the stop order to be "elected" and turn into a market order, regardless of whether the current price was above a buy stop or below a sell stop. I might be wrong on this, since IB's...

Thanks! QQQ is "STK:QQQ" Market orders for futures are done just like in IB, with a limit order 4 ticks away from bid or ask. Should fill very similarly to IB...though with stocks we will have to see if the same behaivior is practical. Let me know what you think! (Inbox is now empty...

    IBRApp, a trading simulator

Hey everyone...I wrote a trading simulator for use with IB's data feed awhile back and I think it's ready enough for others to use. My goals in writing it were realistic fills, a compact UI, logging, and one-click order-entry. I'd love to have some people try it out and let me know what you...
