Russell 2000 almost in Bear territory

My long RTY and short NQ works perfectly well today.... The big rotation has just started.

    Trading results in 2021 ✅

The thing with internet is that, you are free to believe it or not. No one wants anyone to believe. I'll take everything at face value with a grain of salt. I'm not to dig the bottom to see what is true and what is not true. 39% is not anything out of the ordinary. I do not see any red...

Russell 2000 almost in Bear territory

Why would Russell be impacted this more than QQQ with the stagflation? It does not have the high multiples than the QQQ has. As for the liquidation, why people want to sell the less liquid Russell first other than the more liquid large caps and Bitcoin? From what I see, Russell just follows...

Russell 2000 almost in Bear territory

Also everyone should be able to read the markets in 2021. All the records were made on thin volume and low market participation. All were fueled by NASDAQ 100 by the dozens of large techs. Dangerous signs were all over the places. There was no breakout since there should never be any. The...

Russell 2000 almost in Bear territory

Not sure what you talking about the breakout? Things had been falling the entire 2021. Look at ARKK. Look at all the IPO and SPACs. All were topping actions. Yes folks kept buying dips and we kept making records again and again. It was expected that stock markets would be in trouble when...

Russell 2000 almost in Bear territory

Really? How you know Russell topped and QQQ has not? Funny thinking. I got 180% return in 2021 and 20% up this year. What do I get to lose?

Russell 2000 almost in Bear territory

I'd like to hear the causes for the recent Russell drops. High interest rate? More covid cases? High valuation? Russell is in the same dirty bath water with QQQ. I'll be happy to put on a long Russell/short QQQ position. For entire 2022. I bet my own money.

Buying the dip? What stocks are you following?

I do not think what you said has anything to do with the topics of buying dips....

Russell 2000 almost in Bear territory

I do not recall when. But Russell had one heck of run over QQQ in Q1-2021. That was after the Q4-2020 run-up. I was buying TNA at $30 range. Then exited in Q1-2021. I think this is going to happen again. I'll be a buyer of TNA at $58.

    2022/2021 Tech Bubble Thread

The NQ future rebounds 88 points, 0.6% now. Do not know if it is going to hold. Looks like traders are buying tech dips again. I get my positions on and keep pile of cash. Do not want to touch QQQ now. Do not want to trapped.

Russell 2000 almost in Bear territory

This is not growth stocks are weak. We are talking about growth stock bubbles. Look at TSLA and any of Cathie Wood stocks. So you think they should continue to maintain a P/E of 50 or 100? For the Russell stocks, when market is done, Russell is done. When market rebounds, Russell does not...

Government will defeat monopolies. That is what they are for.

    2022 looks like 2008

Wrong. A 1% increase now won't change the real interest rate for the next 10 years or next 30 years. This is exactly what market gets it wrong. A 4x 0.25% Fed rate increase this year only change the short-term Fed rates. It is the market expectation what happens with the long term rate...

    2022 looks like 2008

Even if there is a total 1% increase in interest rate, there is little impact on economy overall. In general, businesses are not borrowing since there is no hot expansion. Economy is not over-heating. Consumers are not heavily in debt, other than the hot housing market. As long as housing...

PTON - Peloton Drops 23+ After Hours

Look at the CEO of PLTR. Also CEOs of Apple, MSFT, Morgan Stanley. PLTR CEO compensation more than $1BB? That is most ridiculous for a money losing company.

Buying the dip? What stocks are you following?

Remember, do not catch falling knife! Cathie Wood never has the risk management capability. She likes to buy dips, and like to hold onto her losses. She will be in big trouble. She better retire.

    2022 looks like 2008

No, 2022 is nothing like 2008. In 2008, we had systemic risk since US financial system was on the verge of total collapse. Now what? If TSLA corrects 30%, no hard to US economy. Is all Google, MSFT, FB, NVDA, AAPL etc correct themselves 30% more, no hard to US economy. Also Bitcoin can drop...

Why the heck are my QQQ put options not up more?

The market is multi-dimensional. Other than QQQ, we get double QQQ and TQQQ. And all the futures and OTC total swaps. We never know the true picture. Things are still fluid. 10% correction is not enough to move anything. Not much pain. Cathie Wood still there. She still does not feel...
