Well here in North Carolina those of us recieved letters from Kay Hagan in opposition of the tax, she is a Dem. I do not mind where they are from as long as Dems keep opposing this little by little, we need to crack away what we can.

Mike McMahon another dem opposed to the tax is also on the Transportation and Infastructure committee which helps because thats another area they were looking for this tax.

And some in Europe have quoted the .005% as well. The 50 bucks per100 thousand would be .05% just so people realize. We here in the US want .25% which is 250 bucks per buy and sell of 100k which is ridiculous :)

My bad when the op I quoted said 500ths of a percent he meant .005% as they stated on the bloomberg interview. He mis wrote it and I misread it but I knew what he meant. So the number they are quoting on bloomberg is .005% which is 5 bucks per thousand.
