I was in the middle of switching from IB to Strategy Runner for increased reliability and wake up this morning and the entire system is down. Very hard to have much faith when the system goes down on your third day!!!

I had several outages this fall when the notes were on ACE. On big volatile report days: the days I trade. I just can't keep hoping IB will not fail during high volatility reports. Maybe TT?

Thanks for the feedback. I have just had too much trouble with IB going down this past fall and just recently (Fed and employment report). And since I trade Notes on the reports this is critical. Switching the windows is really no problem since I only trade one market.

And while I am in the middle of bailing from IB (too unreliable) and considering J trader: has anyone had any experience with Strategy Runner. I know it is C++ instead of Java, which appeals to me, and also has OCO functionality. Thanks

You are using the continuous contract symbol in TS (@TY). Try using the individual contract symbol: tyh04 and see if it matches with IB.

I am in the same situation myself. I am considering Openecry, Fasttrade, and Velocity. Any feedback on these three options would be greatly appreciated. Thanks (I am done with IB: reliability isn't up to par for my needs)

Same with me: blank screen most of the afternoon. IB e-mailed me later saying I could trade even without quotes. Yea, right. I like trading in high volatile environments and IB has done this several times in the last year so I am currently looking for a new broker. Any suggestions...

GCI is not available to US citizens.

Has anyone had any experience with GCI Trading? They deal Forex, and the CFDs look interesting. However I am a bit leery of sending money to Belize.
