Looks like 904.x did not have any issue but older version in 905.x series had this issue. Must be a quite but critical bug-fix.

    Best Automated Software with IB?

I would look at OQ (open quant) or NT7 (ninja). NT7 is still beta and 6.5 is not good enough. So you know my decision...

How to gurantee the execution of order at close without bad slippage?

Yeah, it's like bunch of folks has given their house for buy & sell to a single broker who can make the price at his will. No audit, no transparency. Also think about MoC imbalance. How is he managing when there are more buying and less selling (or other way). I think that the last 10...

How to gurantee the execution of order at close without bad slippage?

You have two options. Trade something liquid. Or exit 5-10 minutes before close. MoC is another gray area where specialist make huge money everyday. I'm not sure why do we get huge candles at close... At NYSE MoC are entered minimum 15 min prior to close so they have whole in-out...

    Zero Sum Theory.

    Zero Sum Theory.

It's not ZERO sum game. It's is -ve SUM game for trader and investor because there are people who will always make money (like your broker, exchange, fund managers and goldman sachs). The only money that flow in market is "dividend" money. Everything else is a DRAIN on the stock market system.

    closing short calls/puts @ 5cents

Exactly - this is a deep out of money CALL on ETF. I think, it was pretty safe to leave it open even if it was 113 CALL.

    closing short calls/puts @ 5cents

I guess no point in covering them if they are deep out of money. I think, the thumb rule is specially applicable to ETFs that can never gap down/up too much. Options on individual stock may have surprise if there are some news about the company on OPEX evening. - SU

    IB Comm for ES (unbundle)

Lightspeed looks excellent. Anyone using them, please advice on followings? * Do they have any monthly platform fee? * What about data subscription fee? * Do they charge options modify/cancel fee? Thanks,

    IB Comm for ES (unbundle)

Any suggestion about brokers? Some IB (introducing broker) told me once that they can't beat IB (interactive brokers) commission (4.80 RT). What is the best rate that I can expect for ~200 contracts per month? Thanks,
  19. T

    IB Comm for ES (unbundle)

Is there any benefit of switching to un-bundled fee for ES trading? Volume is less than 300 contract per month. IB Unbundled Fees: 90 IB Clearing fee: 30 ES exchange fee: 1.14 So new comm will be 2.34 ; a saving of 6 cents. But there is a carry fee of 10 cents for any overnight trade...

Robert, The joke you made few days back came true. Isn't it? This is a science of human psychology (Psycho-Cybernetics). It is very important to stay positive :-) My 2 cents will be to add this in your to-read list. Audio book will be even better...
