    TT allows you to view your transactions / fills or fills / transactions. i use autospreader all day and live off this as it allows me to stay within the exchnange mandates. as for crossing yourself, use the avoid orders that cross feature or you're gonna have big brother on your doorstep.

    I don't think there is one anymore. CBOT offered MB futures ten or so years ago. I don't recall when they stopped.

    Leverage. Options on futures are a derivative of a derivative. You an control, or have rights to, $250,000 worth of stock for a few hundred bucks and your only risk is what you put in (no margin).

    We aware of the underying contract you're trading. It sounds like you made some paper trades on thin markets and thin markets in options are very dangerous as the bid ask spread can get real wide.

    Market close question? Futures...

    as described above. use a slicer. configure it to join the bid with each slice and if the slice is not executed, go to market at the end of the interval. you may beat the closing vwap using this method.

    Cross trades (trading with yourself)

    Doesn't your software prevent that? That's one of the first things i learned to use with xtrader. they have a button you can can check in the properties page that prevents you from trading with yourself.

    Evening trading

    Sydney Futures Exchange has the SPI 200 Index and the Tokyo Commodity Exchange has the TOCOM Futures Index. The Singapore Exhange has Hang Seng. There's always an active index somewhere.

    VIX to ES? Anyone spread this?

    That's they way I see it as well. I'm using a 5 ES / 12 VM ratio....today the first attempt and I'm wondering about my ratio...on a tic per tic basis i'm $60 per side now, but es tick soo much more, it's opening up a lot of opportunity.

    bloomberg tradebook?

    Drag and drop from the QRM screen? Are you talking about managing open orders? can i grab and order and reprice it? and do they not have a dom at all. im worried about using a dom with moving prices. i prefer when the order book moves and the price ladder does not.

    30 seconds to enter an order? you've got to be kidding. that can't be right. any why don't you like the dom? does it jump around or stay in one place?
