    Stupid tradestation

I heard good things about Infinity Brokerage. They apparently answer the phone promptly, and fills are fast. I also have TS for futures, and yes customer service sucks. Once I start trading larger size contracts, there is no way I will use TS for that.

    Worst call by cramer ever?

A couple of weeks ago, he was telling Erin that he feels the market will rally in the afternoon. Of course the market tanked.

    Best Live TRADING ROOM?

Bearbelly, I have been in a few trading rooms. I would have to totally agree with you that it is very difficult to follow someone else's call, no matter how good they are. Each person has their own style that is unique. By the way, are you currently in any trading rooms, or have you gone...

    InvesTools anyone?

It would be scary to add up how much this Investools program is going to cost. So much for the "free seminar". Better to read books, use Tradestation, and learn from the market. Also, I would rather join a quality chat room than spend a gazillion dollars on Investools.

What happens if the US Dollar breaks support

I agree. A declining $US is something to worry about. Otherwise, why not just print the dollar like crazy and be happy and merry. It just does not work like that. The CPI numbers are probably massaged to look decent, but the seat of the pants feel in paying rent, mortgage, grocery, gas...

What happens if the US Dollar breaks support

The positive spin on the declining US $ is that companies with overseas exposure will have strong earnings. Well, that is fine, but what about the public who has to deal with increasing commodity prices (oil, wheat, corn, etc).

    Rate Hike On The Way

CPI numbers are massaged to keep it low. Families paying rent, gas, food, healthcare costs, etc. can feel the difference between actual inflation and the CPI numbers being reported. Dollar is declining and gold / commodities are going higher. This can't be good for inflation. Now...

    CNBC hitting new lows

I like Fast Money too. Much better than listening to paid analysts who really can't say the truth.

Has The U.S. Bull Market Has Been A Massive Illusion?

Good info. Increasing oil, commodities, and declining dollar can't be good for the economy. Taxing imports from China is going to make things worse, although it might help some industries in the US. Too bad wages haven't skyrocketed higher. Oh, but I guess that is ok since the CPI is...

    Tradestation Data Fee Error

Check your tradestation daily statements. I have a futures account with them, and made the 10 round trip to qualify for "free" radar screen and platform fees in October. Still was deducted $59.95 and $99.95 on my November daily statement. Called customer service yesterday, and was...

    Election is over: LONG OIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The way oil caved in was extremely weird, to say the least. Perhaps the buddies at Goldman helped out too with the adjustment in the Commodity index. Well, it didn't work so let's see where oil goes from here.

Please Tell Me I Read This Wrong!!!

Exactly. Unless humans are robocop, We still need food, rent, gas, etc.

Cramer said Legg Mason is a sell, that means to buy

A few weeks ago, he said oil stocks were a sell. That means they are a buy. A few months ago, he said to buy Chevron as oil stocks were strong. I guess that should have meant "sell".

Good News For Us Equity Market:

Goldman and their close "friends" were probably well positioned before they made that mysterious adjustment in the index. Sure won't get this kind of info on CNBC.

Good News For Us Equity Market:

What Goldman Sachs futures index are you referring to? Just curious on what they did.

    Do You Really Trust Cnbc?

The same day the Dow started its decline in May, there was a fat bald guy on CNBC saying the economy is strong, earnings are great, etc. Watching all this crap will take the focus off your trading and looking at the charts. Unless you have connections at Goldman Sachs, etc., we will never...

Which came first the chart or the tape?

Tape reading is the purest form of trading, but is very difficult to master. There are hardly any books on that subject. I have the highest respect for those who can trade without charts.

I haven't watched his show lately. Has he made a bunch of horrendous calls?

More Americans are losing their homes

Under Mr. G's watch, the stock market tanked. Now he has left us with a housing bubble that could come crashing down.

Successful Traders, How Long Did it Take You?

2-3 years sounds about right. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to make it in trading. Trading what fits your personality is also important. Chasing moving Nasdaq stocks just was not my thing, and started to trade Dow mini futures recently. I have not "made it" yet, but...
