Guys a little help with a spread execution on the RUT. I use IB and was wondering how do you actually place the spread. Buy one series first and sell the other one after you got filled on the buy side? Dumb question? Thanks for the help.

I am in search of a good online firm. Was considering going prop but I want to stick to retail for now. Could anyone suggest any solid firms? I have looked the reviews but many of them are date 2004 and older. Starting capital about 100K and decent daily volume. Thanks to all.
