    When I'm Sixty-Four

This has been driving me crazy for years. Who provides vocals on this song? It doesn't sound like any of the Beatles.

    Any recourse for COCO?

Scroll to the bottom on the right side or the left side of the screen? Either way, I can't find it.

    Any recourse for COCO?

I'm probably grasping at straws here, but didn't the Nasdaq create a slew of illegal short sales when they busted all the earlier trades? I mean, if you really flat but you think you're long and you sell shares that you don't own, wouldn't those sales be illegal unless they met the short sale...

    What's Rule 1189?

So to sum up...you're rewarded for being wrong about the direction of the stock, punished for being right, and the only way to make sure your trade didn't get busted was to trade WHILE the stock was halted.

Now did the ARCA trades during the halt actually stand? I made a point to avoid trading it because I thought for sure they'd get busted.

What I find ironic is the fact that you would have been much better off being short rather than long going into the halt. When you covered after the halt, you were actually initiating a long position, which you could have sold later for a higher price.

    Any recourse for COCO?

So Nasdaq can bust trades for any reason they want, wait a couple hours to tell anyone, and not be held accountable? Are they God? I certainly hope you're wrong. :)

    Any recourse for COCO?

Does anyone know what individual traders who got screwed can do? Can we form a class action lawsuit against Nasdaq? Do we just bitch to our brokers and let them handle it?

Well, compared to a couple guys I talked to on the other COCO thread, I didn't get screwed too badly, cause I only traded 300 shares. At one point I was up as much as $3,700 (or so I thought); now I'm about even. Htrader said he would have made $39K more if the trades hadn't been busted...

    Coco - Omg!!

Yeah, I was getting ready to take a nap and call it quits for the day when I saw the bulletin on CNBC. Htrader, what's this costing you, about $50K?

    Coco - Omg!!

Dammit, I don't know if I'm short, flat or what. I keep getting updates from IB that the quantity of my position has changed. One minute I'm up $3,300, then I'm up $2,000. Now I think I might be down $500. F*ck!

    Coco - Omg!!

Anyone hearing rumors of who f*ed up on the big order?

    Coco - Omg!!

Why do you think it won't stand?

    Coco - Omg!!

Resuming trading at 11:55 EDT. Less than 5 minutes! Wow, now there's no red line through the symbol on IB. I'm still going to wait until 11:55. I hope nobody here is short.

    Coco - Omg!!

CNBC reporting that trading is halted because of "extraordingary market activity". I've never heard that one before.

    Coco - Omg!!

Htrader, I hope these current prices reflect where it's going to open. If so, you're up $20-30K so far. I only have 300 shares. (Moving too fast for me to do size)

    Coco - Omg!!

I'm going to give IB a call and make sure they let this thing trade after the halt. If we get enough people to call, maybe they'll listen.

    Coco - Omg!!

Is this going to be another EMLX style halt???? I wonder if a bunch of trades are going to be busted.

    Coco - Omg!!

I don't know how I did it, but I accidentally shorted instead of buying at around 42. I quickly reversed my position and now I'm long. I hope IB lets it trade immediately after the halt. They have a history of not allowing stocks to trade for several minutes after a halt is over.
