What is your definition of a daily bull market?

I was referring to "daily" timeframe bull markets. We have had three in the last four years. If your talking about a yearly bull market... We are merely in a yearly rally cycle for 3-5 years. A true yearly bull market needs to see the SPX above 1600...

What is your definition of a daily bull market?

Being realistic and looking at the reality of the situation... We are not going to see any true bull markets until after the next MAJOR correction/crash. We need to lose a good 300+ points to see a true bull run again. Just gotta trade what the market gives us! Gonna be bear behavior...

What is your definition of a daily bull market?

My definition of a bull market is a market with a weekly/monthly higher low and a high velocity of movement which compresses the dips to under 30 points. 10, 20, 10 MACD of at least 8+ required to reduce market range... Slow rallies that are not bull markets are kinda dizzying... Like these...

Don't worry, this SPX move isn't parabolic.

You sound like a weak hand. The market blows out weak hands. Just like these weak hands shorting the trendline need to be blown out... You have to choose a point. Short either a market top. Or buy a market bottom. Then hold position like a boss into the meat of the trade cycle. Equities...

Don't worry, this SPX move isn't parabolic.

Every single short setup recently has worked fine. No need to worry about exact timing. In order to get a good short next week we need to rally for two or more days more without an engulfing reversal according to the rules of the market. This could potentially be a rare 5 with a...

Don't worry, this SPX move isn't parabolic.

Another quote out of george taylors book... "The beat of the market is subject to these occasional variations occur with surprising regularity. So it seems that the same methods of manipulation used in the past are still used today." The market is rising at a rate of around 5 points...

Don't worry, this SPX move isn't parabolic.

Btw, heres the exact quote out of George Taylors book. "It is a fact and the records show it. For many years back that the market has a definite 1-2-3 rhythm. Varied at times with an extra beat of 4 and a times 5." The fact the market moves in three day sequences is a statistical proven...

Don't worry, this SPX move isn't parabolic.

It actually doesn't matter. Read george taylors book. It's a three with a variation of 4-5. It just happens that only the 3 is high odds, and the 5 has occurred a lot recently. Eg... If you buy the market bottom or short the exact top. Holding for 3 days into the next trade cycle is high...

    Good options daytrading stocks...

SPX, SPY, and AAPL... Best for daytrading options in this market IMO... Not much else worth paying attention to. Facebook could have been a potential new high volatility daytrader but it died...

Don't worry, this SPX move isn't parabolic.

La da de da de da... Cmon 1405+... Once we get just a bit closer to the yearly highs lots of good short setups are going to appear. Woohooo!!! Lets see where we reach by Tuesday. Even if the sequence gets a little noisy the market still pushes towards it's proper price targets. Not...

    AUD trading oppty

The aussie ain't a short for a few more months or more... This is a strong rally pattern. Even though there may be a few couple week week pullbacks the aussie really needs a EU crisis in order to go down. The AUD rose right from the start of the 2003 bull market in equities right up to the end...

Why does TA not work (for you)?

Ocean!!! I solved your problem... Your issue is your not trading the full fractal/range. If your going to hold overnight you have to do 3-5 day swing trades minimum... There is no other way around it. The odds are against you otherwise. You have to hold for entire trade cycles.

Why does TA not work (for you)?

At least someone else on this forum knows their stuff! "Patterns can form within larger patterns and as you stated can morph into a different shape. Often you can predict the breakout direction from a combination of larger time frame pressure" So, I went over my math and solved...

Why does TA not work (for you)?

Study up on Taylor sequences ocean5... This market is declining in sequence duration. The market spends about the same amount of time falling as it does rising when going sideways. If it's in an uptrend it spends more time rising than falling. Downtrend... More time falling than rising. Not...

    Limit up on SPX-ES?

Right... Hahaha... But, just because... Daily... We didn't press up against resistance that hard. Didn't take that short signal a couple days ago. Was looking for a five or a 3-3 variation. If we pop above that trendline and push above 1400 ill be shorting up there. If we drop below the 50%...

    Correct support line?

Broken lower trendlines are safer to buy under than unbroken because the weak hands at the trendline have been taken out. If there is no easily visible trendlines they are not worth worrying about because they don't exist. If the masses don't see the trendline easily it doesn't exist...
