    Where's all the action?

I disagree... The real action is in the EUR/USD, AUD/USD, and AUD/JPY right now... Actually tradeable... The indices right now are a joke. Even AAPL and GOOG are pretty much dead... Well, AAPL is... GOOG gapped, odd... Didn't check it today. Must have been some news.

Expert Signal Provider here seeks top broker to broadcast signals

Jeeze... Even for the /ES futures 10 trades a day is pushing it unless your doing something bizarre like scalping ticks or half handles.

    Market Crash Prediction - Sep/Oct

This is the most perfect crash double compression pattern since 1987... Full confirmation of this current pattern occurs once we push into new bull market highs. Ignore the labels on this chart, they are for the current market pattern.

    Market Crash Prediction - Sep/Oct

Perfect crash pattern which matches the mid 2007 pullback, the flash crash, the 1987 crash, and more... The market still need around a month more of low volume drift up to fully set up for a massive crash. Rally volume levels, VIX, and sentiment levels are all pushing toward full...

    Good options daytrading stocks...

Google... Jeeze... Had totally forgotten about it. Oh, no wonder... The stock is a bit "erratic"... Doesn't pattern cleanly like AAPL.

    Good options daytrading stocks...

Futures options spreads are not worth it... Much better to just trade SPY options. If you can't daytrade them just swing them for a few days at a time on good trade setups. AAPL is still great trading even if the indices are dead.

    The True Driver of Supply/Demand

I don't think modeling off of old data is going to be too applicable in the next few years. If you look at trimtabs and all of the current quant research most all market correlation in recent years is with ben bernanke, merkel, the ecb, and the central banks. They are the primary drivers...

    The True Driver of Supply/Demand

From the data I have created a plot which shows the curve of earnings growth vs stock performance year over year. (Hand Drawn) The green arrow points to the sweet spot... Where stock performance is the best!!! Not perfectly accurate... A quant isn't going to give you their exact mathematical...

    The True Driver of Supply/Demand

This is very interesting... The market has the strongest steadiest gains when growth is slow or negative. "When quarterly earnings growth was less than 5% and not worse than minus 20%, the S&P 500 index (SPX) grew at an annualized average of 12.4%. This compares to an average annualized...

EMA - SMA Equivalency math problem...

Anyone know the answer to this quick? Otherwise I will have to code it into my plotting program to solve it. If you have a security moving a rate of 0.5% per bar (Lets just say 10 points per bar to make it simple)... What EMA period will plot at the same location as a 10 SMA? It is...

market going up like things are booming... but USA in 'Death Spiral'

Sh*t... Were gonna crash. Four votes no vs two yes put the odds twice as much on a crash... If the masses think were going to go up were definitely not going to go up.

... is how thar indices be tradin. Seriously... Less than a three point range today on the SPX except for the first 30 minutes and last 30 minutes... Not even bothering to daytrade the indices lately in futures or options. Volatility has dropped way way to low... Trading is wonderful in...

Are you ready for the EU breakup?

Wall street is getting prepared!!! I'm ready for it!!! It's going to be sad if the EUR/USD is discontinued. Maybe a couple countries will remain... Germany/France? Maybe a complete breakup within a few years. Who knows! The volatility increase in the markets is going to be like a breath of...

The only thing I use technical indicators for... (Ocean5 Read)

Quant funds always eventually get blown up by black swans. Mathmatical based funds were making a KILLING from 2003-2007... Then most of them completely blew up in 2008 in the big crash. A few of the good ones survived. They had good managers at the top who understood systemic risk and when it...

The only thing I use technical indicators for... (Ocean5 Read)

Technical indicators are good for a few things... 1. Programming them and working through the math keeps my mind sharp. 2. The math of the indicators strips out my emotional bias. (This is really the most important part.) 3. They lessen the brainpower required to calculate things out in...

The magical 3rd derivative of price...

Ugh... I'm tired and going to sleep. Technicals and indicators are really unimportant for trading for the most part. They are pretty and nice and make you feel comfortable and allow you to calculate odds out... But in reality... All you need to do to trade successfully is short high...

The magical 3rd derivative of price...

You need to look at the vertical lines... Here I have drawn circles so you can obviously see where the market turns expectedly. A few of the recent turns could not have technically been predicted with a 4th derivative indicator with this level of noise stripping. The mario speech rally...
