    Day-Trading 2.0 for small traders

Oh, and just wanted to post a chart of today, some days are so beautiful and easy to trade, just analize price, take trades, book profits. 11 trades, 11 winners. p.s. Note that trade 10 and 11 are not 100% (price making HH, LH) but still are winners.

With the experience and time you'll learn to see what is your success rate and hence, what should be your R/R. I calculate my R/R based upon what I lose and not upon my stops. for two reasons: 1) The trades that usually goes wrong are the trades with tighter stops. Strange enough but that true...

Hi all, I think JJvrat misunderstood my last question about entries what led me to post a bit wider post about entries. I'll use his last chart to better demonstrate what I mean. You can see I added lines with letters besides them. I'll explain Immdietly. Let's say you know a new...

Dear floyd I can tell what formations I use but i fear this will hardly help you as, IMO, you need to have a lot of screen time with indicators or just with orice action and find what works best in your trading plan so you'll know when, for example not listen to your indicators or when to...

    Day-Trading 2.0 for small traders

Dear floyd I\d really recommand you to read this thread from the beggining. On the start of the thread JJvrat explained why the Indicators to enter are just a final formality for what your price analysis already tells you so it doesn't really metter what indicator you use to enter as long as...

What can a trader do as a secondary job to supplement income.

I'd really suggest opening a small business of something you love. I for example opened a little home-recording studio, and I knew this trader once who opened a little book shop, opening a business is a good way to invest your time + you might actually be very succsessful in the long term.

    Day-Trading 2.0 for small traders

Hi JJvrat, Thank again for a great post a few comments though hope you'll answer them: 1) The second trade (the loser) could have been easily avoided by entering only one tick below the low of the bar that changd the slope, this is how I trade to avoid whipsaws. But I do notice that this entry...

Thank you, fortunatly the things that bothers him in H/A charts are exactly the reasons I use this charts for so the article really encouraged me in keep using them and understanding them better. I don't think it's an "holy grail" or something but I think you can definately use it as a visual aid.

Hi, I define a wave by a change of slope of the 17HMA, the changes are marked with black and white candelsticks on the chart, black candelstick = slope changed down, white cadelstick = slope change up. You're right, therefore I look on a "normal" 1min chart too but since my entries are...

    Day-Trading 2.0 for small traders

Hi all, as I promised a chart of my trades today. Traded the SPY since I had problems with my futures data vendor. The chart below is a 0.1 range bar chart I use for wave analysis. Enteries and stops are based on 1 min chart with Haikin Ashi display (which is, very recommanded, BTW, for...
