What makes an obsessive liar tick?

My mother-in-law is the same way and I had a couple of friends in school like that as well. I have never understood it. After a while, they believe their own lies. Just know that your brother is who he is. You can't change people, you just have to know that he lies. Don't take it...

    Discipline...

I'm in the same boat. I had been in the industry for 12 years before I attempted to trade professionally. I traded as an amateur with moderate success. The reality is that daytrading is "swimming with the sharks". The margin for error on a trade is very small compared to swing trading...

    Competitive Deal ?

Sounds like a good enough deal, but I would think the amount of shares you plan to trade would be a larger factor than deposit amount. Other charges to take into account? Are you paying a desk or software fee? What about clearing charges, are they included in the .006 or in addition to?

    This is intolerable

Not sure if I am the guy above to which you are referring... However, I really like your style and would like to send you a check for all the money which I plan to lose. Is $10k enough? :D

    This is intolerable

I have been trading for about the same time frame. I started the first week of November. I wish I was only down $1500. Unfortunately, I am down that times ... a lot. I have had a number of "gut checks," too many to count really. My most recent was this past weekend where I gave serious...

This guy's a legend in his own mind

I love the Onion... the first time I read it (gulp, about 10 years ago) I just laughed and laughed. I couldn't believe what I was reading. Here is a link to my favorite H-dog story: http://www.theonion.com/onion3307/employee_of_month_3307.html

WOW! Janet Jackson's breast most searched event EVER

That's unbelievable! I can't believe how out of control this situation is. The sky is falling, the sky is falling... my 12 year old daughter saw a bare breast on TV. Gasp. American's are so hypocritical. We spend more money each year on cabaret then all other forms of live theater...

    Help - NYSE Scalping

I started trading with a prop firm in November and now have three months of experience to draw upon. I find myself stuck and I am asking for some input. Currently, I seem to be capable of trading gross positive but have not been able to consistently trade net positive. I made huge gains in...
