I might have the best schedule to trade

I absolutely agree with you, but that's why I'm not a day trader :) It's the strategy that works for me, keeping me sane. If I am able to sell early and make a killing, great! But, if I'm in a lunch meeting and just can't exit, well, so be it... Again, I do this on the side as my portfolio...

I might have the best schedule to trade

I "swing trade long value companies". In other words, whenever I get the time I have the option to actively trade (during my day job, during breakfast, etc). AAPL

They have their big conference of the year (WWDC) in about two weeks. 99% of the time their stock goes up a) in anticipation of the conference or b) during the conference when new products are announced. I will be looking VERY closely next week at APPL to see if I can get in for a 1-2 week...

    Ha..haaaaa...Snapchat valued at $22.7 Billion....

They are going to have to start charging a premium to use these services, otherwise they are not going to survive. We are already seeing with, for example, with YouTube RED ($10/mo to remove ads). Although the first couple of social networks that try will probably fail as people don't want to...

    Critique my "Trading Rules"

Long time lurker, part-time swing trader here :) I have made 5 simple rules (for myself) to always keep in mind. What do YOU think of them? Do you think some are just plain wrong? Am I missing something? 1. Only trade within long-term valuable companies. If you wouldn’t hold a stock for 1+...
