    Farting while trading

this is my favorite part about working at home. It used to be I could sit in my office for hours without any company, but bake a few biscuits and I had a line at the door, but they never stayed long. One group I worked with called me Mac the Crack.

The surest way to make 5k a month

And This: http://biz.yahoo.com/fin/l/w/wade.ob.html And look at his statement on Cash Flow, no investment returns for the last four quarters. And This: My review from Amazon. From Wade Crook's Free Stocks, this clown can't even write a book that shows winning trades. This...

The surest way to make 5k a month

I think WAXIE did this. 33K to 7 Mill in 2 years. You can read about it in his book, oops that is not right, the trades are not in his book. You have to subscribe to his website, oops I forgot he is making a movie this summer. The better way to ask this question would be to poll people who...

    itemized deductions

Unless you have one of those Air conditioner/ computer combos that Best Buy is selling then I doubt it. There is a link somewhere in this thread to an IRS publication that explains how to allocate costs via sq. footage of your home office.

Do you agree with this letter?

http://www.truthorfiction.com/rumors/facecovered.htm What do I think about the premise? First of all, most of us ended up here as a result of our ancestor's choice or lack of choice in coming to this country. Which should be fine since the most unfortunate Americans live a better lifestyle...

    Catching the right train

I am guessing yes where they can. I just looked at a few gaps down over the past few days. WYE, PGR, PNC, NSIT. So far sans PNC the other three look to be pinned.

    Fun in being short

Unless you are early or precise in your timing shorting can be very frustrating, even more so than being long. I remember losing about $1000 bucks in 10 minutes one evening several years ago. And that was on 100 shares where I could not cover. The frustration, just like being long is...

Going to hell in a hand basket

I started reading "Dance of the Money Bees" by John Train this week. There are some interesting parallels between previous market bottoms and what is going on now. It was written a while ago, think there was a line about finding the next Xerox. One scary thing relating to inflation is the...

    Catching the right train

You are an intelligent one. When the quality of your posts and ideas rival Don's then you can use any tone you want. But all I see is a scared little boy trying to wear daddy's pants. Oh and I let this slip the first time, but SPELL CHECK IS FREE, sandwich is spelled SANDWICH. SANDWHICH...

    Catching the right train

Give me a break. Don is one of the better posters here. I find his posts more useful than not. It seems pretty pathetic that you are bashing Don for giving his opinion. So what if he has a business. I have never gotten the sense in any of his posts that he is pimping his shop. In fact, I...

    THat hot HOusing Market....

I just overheard on CNBC an excerpt on short selling. Hmm, last month they were talking REITS and now they are talking short selling. I think it was yesterday, one of the business shows had an interview with a few people who were now dealing in real estate instead of the market. No more stock...

    Catching the right train

However I constantly miss the trains, at least the right ones. Is this something with looking at the right indicators or is pure luck or something like psychology issue? Lojze [/B] Lojze, It is my opinion that this is something that we all, and if not all, something that I certainly...

    Stock Options Question

dblarrow, they usually have both. Although the expiration dates are usually years as opposed to months. They also have a strike, but if you have ever heard of repricing, this is the ultimate screw job. For instance if company X was selling at 50 and is now selling at 5 a 60 dollar strike...

    THat hot HOusing Market....

Look at the Chart for PPS, I came across it last week and am now short. I noticed over the past week that many RIETS and mortgage RIETS are starting to crack. I think that you should be able to use some charts and news to find RIETS in areas that are over leveraged and may be maintaining...

    THat hot HOusing Market....

Mike, IYR is a tracking stock for riets. Also I think RWR, but if you look in the Quotes section of WSJ unter etfs there are two or three. Also you may want to look at RLF and JRS which are closed end funds that track riets.
