Paper Trading Vs The Real Deal

How about opening a real account but just do simulated trade? Even if you need to pay fee, the fee is worth its dollars. The small fee help you to prevent the bigger losses you could have paid when you traded live as a starter. Well-worth, I could say.

Paper Trading Vs The Real Deal

To me, the willingness to take loss is also within psychology field. Anyway the classification doesn't matter much. Use any wording you like. No one ask you to utilize all your leverage limit. No one forces you to do. Why do it? You can just buy 1 contract even if you can afford buying 10...

Paper Trading Vs The Real Deal

Thumb up! People are just no serious when they papertrade. That's why they blame papertrade is useless. It's like you are doing a mock exam, but doing the exam with notes beside you. You still write even after the time's up. Then you blame mock exam doesn't help when you fail in real exam.

Another idea is to find stocks which hit a new low (or its first 52-week low). It's strange but stocks which hit low will keep hitting lows until it hits too many lows and break through at least 2 major resistance levels.

    Momentum Stock Trading

Here's my ideas. Finds stocks which have risen sky-high (or all-time high). Then put them on the watch lists. If one stock can break through 2 major levels of supports with high volume (from its very top), it's time to do some puts. :) You will have a higher chance to win if you do so in...

Trading Software which has strong and easy programming language

Every starter can do so. :) That's good. As long as EasyLanguage can give me enough flexibility & power to code some complex trading rules, it is silly to learn complex language to achieve the same thing. Could Tradestation read Metastock files directly? If not, what converters do I...

No, I still don't see no real benefits in trading in cash forex. For most of the traders, currency futures should be their premium choice unless you have some strange/specific reasons otherwise.

What's up? Maybe the example is sheer bad, but everyday issue does affect your emotion and so your trade performance/decision. You can easily think of an example in daily life. You need to be aware of them, so you won't suffer losses or make silly mistakes when they happen.

But I wonder how you can execute at listed (lag) price. Usually the case is the quote price is lagging, but the execution price will never lag. It will give their best prices to you - if it's against you, execute at lagged price. Otherwise, you miss the fill.

    Momentum Stock Trading

Yes, that's what I want. A stock which has momentum and keep rising most of the time. If it can rise 4-7% daily on average, the stock seems to be "hot" enough. I just wish to be a momentum swing trader (NOT daytrader). Buy high and sell higher. When one stock loses its momentum (and start to...

Paper Trading Vs The Real Deal

Yes agreed! Alternatively, you may replay a historical set of tick data in real-time which should have the same effect (sure you shouldn't have any memory about that day or you fall into making hindsight decisions)
