World’s Second-Biggest Bank to Issue $3B in Bonds Tradable for Bitcoin

It starts at the edges then moves towards the centre. Yes, I know the article says the bank is the world's 2nd largest but most outside of China haven't heard of it, including me. My take is therefore this bank is at the edge. Now, when Citi, HSBC, Goldman, Douche Bank or Goldman Sachs etc...

SEC Fines From Enforcement Hit Record $4.68B

Americans have perfected the shakedow :) Doesn't matter if it's the mob shaking down some titty bars or the government shaking down the finance industry.

Any ES intraday trader still actively trading? How do you find the market

Dow futures are better (up to about 10 lots). The bigger price on Dow versus ES means it charts slightly better IMO.

Bridgewater Loss Stuck at -18.6% in Main Fund After Model Tweaks

100% agree. Few outside of the industry had heard of Dalio a few years ago, then he's everywhere anf the fund starts to under-perform.

    Bitcoin seizure

The only people that have a good ground of what Bitcoin is, and what it's trying to do, are the people that have taken the time, many months, to research it. Nothing comes easy with Bitcoin, certainly not holding it...

    Yes, a fast market.

    Bitcoin seizure

They weren't seized, Bitcoin cannot be siezed without breaking a password that in turn is weak and therefore crackable. Siezing is a clickable headline when handed over to the FBI (or whoever) isn't as jazzy. Or the FBI used some good old force/threats to the individual. And yes, they'll be...

Is there a book I can learn about American economics?

Anything by the great Milton Friedman. Check out some youtube vids on the man as well, he made a 6 part series many years ago, still relevant.

You charts are too compacted IMHO, open them up and you'll get a far better picture. So make you y-axis show a low of 22 an a high of 48.

How much latency is too much for day trading?

As others have said, if you're using the mouse, latency isn't a problem (assuming it's half decent). Also, have you considered changing to IB's Euro server? I think they have one in London and probably Germany, maybe more.

    Noobie Wheat tick size question

No 1/8th, only 1/4. 4 ticks (quarters) to 1 point. Interesting that the US is probably the only country that still deals in non-metric, quarters, pounds, ounces and so on. Takes a generation to change, it should start to change. The world for example says what the hell is a 16 oz drink...

    Gold is such a pathetic hedge(or a non-hedge even)

If you're trading then Gold is just a number that goes up and down. It's a pretty good speculation vehicle regardless of whether it's a hedge or not against this and that. Many Gold traders in 2020 have made out like bandits. Fantastic moves both ways.. PS. It's unproven but some say having a...

since about 90% of the traders lose money, what's the percentages of winning trader in the forum. Ar

Oh yes it is, I base all my trading decisions on the back of a simple concept - look for areas on the chart when EVERYONE WANTS IT (for whatever reasons). Those areas will normally always be on the back of the fabled 7th Law - Dramatic price movements tend to unfold from price structures than...

For a professonal trader I define it as making money every month (unless you're very long term, then it's not so possible). LOOK at the action in the markets, almost EVERY day there are great moves, doesn't matter which market. So to be a pro, you have to be able to harvest some of that whilst...
