Investment Giant AllianceBernstein Now Says Bitcoin Has Role in Investors’ Portfolios

John, yes, holding is the best option but as any long term holder will tell you, holding isn't easy with the massive price swings. And it's likely to not get any easier either. People new to Bitcoin are going to find out the reality of holding and it's not going to be as simple as they believe...

Investment Giant AllianceBernstein Now Says Bitcoin Has Role in Investors’ Portfolios

It's been the hardest question in ALL of investment over the last few months - Do I buy Bitcoin and if so, where... Price action is nasty to a certain degree, not letting people in unless they pay up (or are quick, as in the recent mini-dump).

Why Bitcoin is Surging and How This Rally Is Different from 2017

Having said the above, Willy Woo (@woonomic) an excellent Bitcoin chain analyst says "old hands have been selling into this rally since the start of Nov, BTC @ $13k+". So maybe some new supply is coming on to the market at these sorts of levels. If so, it's been gobbled up. Further Woo -...

Why Bitcoin is Surging and How This Rally Is Different from 2017

Bitcoin holders are now in full control and the vast majority of them aren't interested in selling until at least a $1trillion cap ($64k). Even then there might not be many - Where is the supply going to come from to overcome the demand? EVERY day the supply is getting SMALLER and SMALLER like...

Why Bitcoin is Surging and How This Rally Is Different from 2017

It's different because it's being slowly cornered like a corner we've never seen before. No new supplyis possible. No government Exchange can step in.

Pek, you must be old school buddy because you think profits matter these days! (Only joking, I'm sort of with ya on Uber).

Ray Dalio Says He ‘Might Be Missing Something’ About Bitcoin

Always remember this with Tether, few buyers of Bitcoin know what Tether is and do not care. Now, let's assume Tether implodes in 101 lawsuits with every Land of the Free Agency trying to ban it. What will happen to Bitcoin? Will it implode? Nope. Will that 'finally' be the end of the...

Ray Dalio Says He ‘Might Be Missing Something’ About Bitcoin

It's zero issue, that's why few talk about it apart from the Bitcoin bears. People have been warning about Tether for years but it keeps rolling on. Plus, what's Tethers cap? Around $18b, so yes, that sounds about right, an $18b cap propping up a $330b market.

Ray Dalio Says He ‘Might Be Missing Something’ About Bitcoin

How do you know it's a bubble? Just because something goes a lot higher doesn't always mean bubble especially with something totally new like Bitcoin where nobody has a proper clue what it's worth apart from a lot higher. It's also a dangerous man that tries to call the top in an obvious...

Ray Dalio Says He ‘Might Be Missing Something’ About Bitcoin

I doubt it. Bitcoin is now about 20% into its cornering, in a corner like we've never seen before. NO further supply is possible, the majority of holders aren't selling at any price less than $1trillion cap (around $64k). The holders, who go through massive amounts of pain, are now fully in...

    Leveraged Bitcoin Trading?

Not sure if you actually own any Bitcoin with the CME as it's cash settled. Why not use a regulated broker like Kraken, they look a very well run company especially in regards to security. They also offer leverage.

Carl Icahn Had An Atrocious Third Quarter (Forbes)

I'd bet a load of money that when Buffett dies a LOAD of shit is going to come out about him. He's a money thirsty super predator that's cleverly disguised as an ah-shucks cherry coke drinking cuddly toy. Got to hand it to the man, not easy to do.

Frustrating to Buy Tops & Sell Bottoms

Sierrachart or Ninja for day trading stocks?

I don't trade stocks with Sierra but use the program and I think the general consensus is it's a far better package than Ninja. The only problem with Sierra is it has so many bells/whistles it can take time to understand how it all works.

ES - Trying to tame the beast

Try Dow futures, for smaller orders under 10 lots I think they're far better to trade than ES because they chart better, ie 28,000 with 1 tick values versus 3550 with the 1/4s.

Frustrating to Buy Tops & Sell Bottoms

Yes, but it relies far more on the CHARACTER of the price action. The beautiful thing about understanding the character, and change in character, is computers are a long way from understanding it, whereas the human eye can spot the often subtle changes. The code boys aren't a threat to your...

Frustrating to Buy Tops & Sell Bottoms

To stop buying highs/selling lows you've got to be a real expert on the price action around those highs/lows. Price character plays a massive role. There ARE clues and the price action hasn't changed over the years despite what many think or say. The price action around those high/lows is also...
