The past 2 weeks with Santorum has highlighted just how weak Obama is.

Well, not bad, smarter than I would have figured. And, since Santorum robo called everyone to vote against Romney and for him, well, not too good of a result. I actually mentioned to my wife that I thought the dem's should take advantage of the robo calls, if Santorum were to ever have a...

All of you big government idiots should watch this.

Do you know you're citing an article from 2004? And, aren't you the guy who keeps posting to himself in chit chat? Maybe it's time to look outside, see that it's 2012 and that your little trades are going the wrong way. Look, I really try to not be a putz like so many on here, and try to...

Sounds like a smart move. Even though it didn't happen. c

Yep, you have some agreement here. You know Santorum had no chance, much like Paul, who I like and his economic and war stances. c

    Every time Santorum opens

OK, well, I don't think anyone here, even the far right guys, would agree with you on this one. The 'candidate' of Mr. Santorum is so far right of Mr. Reagan that it's not even close, IMO. Reagan had a lot of respect from both sides, Mr. Santorum has both sides say 'huh?' for the most part...

Bill Clinton: Time to build the Keystone Pipeline.

Not a racist by any means, but you know that. But I get your joke. After reading all the junk in the WSJ and local papers, can't seem to figure out what Obama's real position is. He's ok'ing the southern porting that does not cross international boundaries. Listened to Hilary the last...

    Ricky is quite the hypocrite

Yes, both sides should learn to cut spending. A start in agreements here on ET. I say bring the troops home, reevaluate foreign aid everywhere, yes everywhere. Spend money here at home, get welfare recipients working on infrastructure if they're able, babysit kids if they're not. Build a...

biggest critics of federal spending — Republican base voters — are some of the bigges

Do you honestly think the R's and/or conservatives are really against big government? Just talking points if you follow the voting records of both sides. You know I'm social left, and yet I would love to see a smaller government, but who decides what we cut back on? Get gov't out of the...

Obama Wants To Increase Health Care Costs For Soldiers

Let me get this straight. You would prefer a military coup/control over an elected government? I spent my years in the military, proudly, but great management or fiscal responsibility, well, not so much. Have you priced an air force toilet lately? Sounds a bit extreme, regardless of the...

Obama tells blacks to 'stop complainin' and fight

Not that I can see anything there, but here is what pops up. Did you get one of these maybe? PolitiFact N.J.: Obama's former 'girlfriends' sought by conspiracy theorists in chain e-mail http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2011/12/politifact_nj_obamas_former_gi.html c:confused:

    Christian Hypocrisy on Socialized Medicine

Admittedly, you guys have been squabbling down here longer than I, but how do you know about his Branch Dividian fundamentalist beginnings? Is this just 'type-casting' or was something actually discussed. Just curious? c

I agree, 'air cabbie' and all the child can fly thing is old too. You know I said I respected your profession, and I still do. and, nobody 'has' to be the first to stop. Maybe just trying cooling it. I know my voice means little to you guys, but maybe a truce or something? FWIW, c

I may have started this, and I realize that I'm sort of new in the P&R basement. Some seem to get along with me, and/or at least my thoughts on topics, some, of course, don't. I just want to say that I have been having great conversations, discussions, debates, whatever you want to call what...

Mr. Brass doesn't need defending or anything, but I wonder why you're so concerned about he being Canadian? We live, and certainly trade, in a global economy. We, as Americans, should be interested in what's going on around the world. Not a big deal overall, that's all I'm saying here. c
