When the 1,50,50 MACD’s MACD is in green, set the strike price on the bottom of the green 1,16.5 MAE fill. When the 1,50,50 MACD’s MACD is in white, set the strike price somewhere in the silver 1,33 MAE fill. When the 1,50,50 MACD’s MACD is in red, set the strike price somewhere in the red...

Should be when the 1,100,100 MACD’s MACD is in red, set the strike price on the red 1,50 MAE, not 1,37.5. Another thing I just noticed, the midpoint between 20 and 50 would be 35, not 37.5.

I went back to the "number by paint" MACD system I had on July 3rd. When the 1,100,100 MACD’s MACD is in green, set the strike price on the green 1,20 MAE. When the 1,100,100 MACD’s MACD is in white, set the strike price on the silver 1,37.5 MAE. When the 1,100,100 MACD’s MACD is in red, set the...

The 1,20 MAE is the default strike price. When the 50-day ATR or 37.5-day ATR is lower than the 20-day ATR, set the strike price lower than the 1,20 MAE, not necessarily on the 1,50 MAE, not necessarily on the 1,37.5 MAE, but as low as you can make a decent profit.

Finding a juicy profit on a naked put has been a little tough hunting lately and then I found ROKU to be a honey hole and I wondered if it would be on a Naked Puts Screener and I made one and it was, so now I use one again. I figure I can live with wide bid-ask spreads as long as I make a juicy...

I made a change. It makes more stocks tradeable than there were before. The 1,16.5 MAE is the default strike price. When the 33-day ATR is lower than the 16.5-day ATR, set the strike price lower than the 1,16.5 MAE proportionately, not necessarily exactly on the 1,33 MAE.

I just sell puts for chump change diversified in high-volume ETFs and high-volume stocks. I don't like short-selling, long options and spreads.

Here's the system I'm using now. It passes up some profit opportunities but it almost keeps me out of trouble.

I got frustrated with MACD and went back to ATRs. Set your strike price on the Moving Average Envelope of the color of the highest Average True Range.

An attempt to make a science of reading the 5,34,34 MACD: MACD running in or against green: set strike price on green line. MACD running in or against red: set strike price on red line. MACD running in white: set strike price on silver line.

The only ETFs I sell naked puts on now are SPY and QQQ. More volume and less risk. If I were tempted to use SVXY now, I would sell the 7/10/20 27 put for seven cents and hope it expires worthless or I buy it back for one or two cents.

Selecting a strike price is more of an art than a science, and I removed the 16.5,16.5 Moving Average Envelope.

Set the strike price on the 1,11 Moving Average Envelope or lower when the 5,34,34 MACD is bullish. Set the strike price on the 16.5,16.5 Moving Average Envelope or lower when the 5,34,34 MACD is bearish. I choose from positive weighted alpha stocks and SPY and QQQ at any weighted alpha.

I decided 1,11 and 16.5,16.5 Moving Average Envelopes and Weighted Alpha and Volume are all I need.

I got rid of the ATR system and brought back weighted alpha.

ETFs... South Korea (EWY) or Thailand (THD) and why??

I swing-traded stuff like them a year or two ago and American stocks and ETFs with high volume are a lot better deal, I think.

I brought the ATR system back. I figure it will keep me out of more trouble than it will get me into.

SVXY looks a lot more tradable now that I've taken the LRCs off. It has decent weekly options too.

The ATR system wasn't always foolproof, so....screen for high volume and set the strike price on the Moving Average Envelope that makes the most sense to you to make money and cover your ass.
