Anyone else using J-Trader having connection problems today? I seized up and couldn't reconnect for 1/2 hour.

on the 5 min chart it is REALLY clear..take a look. normally very reliable, still not sure what provoked the buying frenzy just as the right sholder dropped below the neckline(reason why i went short). just couldn't find it in me to reverse and go long.

good for you profitseer. glad someone did well on that breakout. i got caught wrong-footed, having watched a beautiful head and sholders setup develop and went short at 901.50 when it dropped below the neckline. Got out of it relatively unscathed, but missed the entire move up.

I am currently looking to upgrade from win 98 for stability issues. How painless is the upgrade to XP Pro? Am I at risk of losing info from the hard disk? All of my company accounting is stored on the system an I would hate to lose it!

The simulator is weak in getting fills. Nothing like real-time.

I am looking for a broker with fast, reliable, executions and a low commission structure. IB is NOT an option at this time. I would be interested to hear from anyone using Advanced Futures, regarding executions, reliability, and service levels when the system goes down.

Does anyone have any experience dealing with Apexfutures? They accept Canadian corporate clients, which is a must for me. Commissions are 13.90 round trip. Wanted to go with IB, but they do not accept Canadian corporate clients.

Any idea on the time frame? Any suggestions in the mean time?
