What is the most liquid FX index future?

Ok, but the big ones mean larger exposure/leverage. I suppose if they're more liquid they are technically less risky. So does anyone trade the Eurodollar future? (that is an interest rate future?). Anything else that is a derivative of currency?

What is the most liquid FX index future?

So the minis are less liquid? Isn't that the opposite of how it usually is with the equities indices?

What is the most liquid FX index future?

Yeah I currently do, but I want a more transparent exchange where I can also see traded volume. What about the EuroFX futures on the ICE exchange? That is located in Europe right? Does anyone know how the liquidity is for FX futures on that exchange during the London session?

What is the most liquid FX index future?

I know there is for instance the CME dollar index. Not sure how liquid that is. I looked at the E-mini EuroFX future on CME, it doesn't seem to have much volume in the evening. What about the Eurodollar future? Basically I'm looking for any FX based future that is somewhat liquid...

Is there charting that handles pivot points for you?

Or with pivot points is it common that you need to draw them on your own since you have to decide where to start measuring the high/low and the 1st and 2nd levels of R and S? I am looking at MultiCharts and they have several indicators called Pivot Hi and Pivot Low, but they don't appear to...

Zogby gives McCain/Palin small lead for first time

Doubt it will matter except to the chattering classes. The backlash against the media for the initial onslaught against Palin has already helped McCain more than his campaign could have hoped for.

Well then you'll be happy know Gallup now has McCain/Palin up by 3% today.

What is the deal with time and sales on Globex?

Thx. Do you know what instruments are affected? Any link about this new rule?

What is the deal with time and sales on Globex?

I read in another forum that since the CBOT/CME merger, Globex is going to consolidate the T&S so that you won't see small prints, but prints will come across the tape in consolidated form, hiding the small orders and making it hard to know when large orders are being placed relative to retail...

How can institutional trades be tracked?

How does it do this? Isn't it limited to whatever data is in the feed you provide it? They are just a software vendor right, not a data provider. So how do they get the large block prints if they're not reported?

Is there any app that will provide me just time and sales from my IB feed?

What? Sure it does. Unless you mean for FX? Why wouldn't IB provide streaming T&S? There's a button on the main toolbar for it.

Is there any app that will provide me just time and sales from my IB feed?

I am using MultiCharts which I like perfectly with my IB. And I'm using ButtonTrader for order entry. I basically need two more windows, one is Time and Sales and the other is a window showing my current IB account details (margin, equity, etc.). Is there an app out there that I could just...

Block Trading Begins on Treasury futures & options and Fed Funds

Guess I don't get this. Doesn't this new rule mean that tape reading for the little guy has been compromised? How can you read prints that aren't there? And those large orders do move prices right? So how is this good again?

Does Globex consolidate the time & sales tape?

I was reading somewhere else that the Globex consolidates the tape and therefore it is not possible to see small lot prints. Is this accurate? I am completely new to futures and am interested in trading FX Futures on the CME using tape reading methods.

Any chart package that allows multiple simultaneous data vendors?

Bummer that it doesn't work with MB Trading.

Any chart package that allows multiple simultaneous data vendors?

I'm pretty impressed with MultiCharts. Only downside is that all windows exist within an MDI interface and can't be put on opposite sides of a desktop, say on a huge multimonitor setup. That's a shame but I can live with it.

Anyone here trade FX Futures or Options? Anyone?

Seems like a lot of advantages exist for trading them, such as double the leverage during RTH, less slippage (more consistent liquidity moment to moment), equal potential for gains. Thoughts? And does anyone know, does Globex provide traded volume (not just bid/ask volume) ??

Any chart package that allows multiple simultaneous data vendors?

I want to load a chart of an instrument from two data vendors. So for example MSFT from IB's feed and MSFT from ESignal, as an example. Same app, same chart style, same symbol, just different feeds going into each chart. Any app out there that can do this?

Anyone ever use MCFX or MultiCharts?

I know MCFX comes with a connection to FXCM, can it be pointed to IB for backfilling? Can the bigger product MultiCharts do IB backfill?
