Thanks, but I couldn't find any info on the API on their website. Not a big fan of NinjaTrader, I'd like a raw API that I can write to from C++, preferably one that is TCP/IP based.

I know MB Trading has an API and seems friendly to developers. Any other brokers that might have better infrastructure (I don't know what MB's infrastructure is, I just mean are there any that are as friendly as MB but have faster execution or more reliable uptime?). Thx.

I read an article saying there were ~6000 licensed traders in 2004. Surely there were more than 6000 people trading at day trading or prop trading firms in 2004, right? Does license mean something above and beyond the trader who is hired at say a Bright Trading type of gig?

I posted this in options but I can already tell I'm not going to get answers there. I'm looking for a good charting app that will show me tables of the strikes. I can't find this anywhere without using a broker's app. I use IQFeed.

Specifically one that shows tables of strikes, and is clearly meant for options? I can't find anything in the mainstream that looks good.

These are all good questions. Their commissions and margin rates are indeed higher than many popular brokers here. That all said, none of this addresses the issue of network reliability, order routing reliability, support of the TT platform and the overall issue of execution speed as it compares...

Fancy that, that's very cool. I think though it's for registration only right? If you switch from an existing platform, you don't get the discount do you?

Their rates up. $50/month base fee, plus exchanges. And it's much more than $4 if you want CME, and other stuff like that. But good to know it works well with QuoteTracker.

What about IQFeed? They are supposed to be one of the better ones for the price.
