    Nooby McNoob becomes a quant

This is a huge issue. For example, if your system implements granular/precision calculations in real-time, you’ll see a drastic difference in execution when feeding it with IB snapshot data, as opposed to IQFeed tick data.

This would trigger a catastrophic civil unrest, and the government would be overthrown by its citizens, while the military steps back or joins in.

Our imbalanced tax code is the culprit for the demands from the left. Avenues open to wealthy citizens don’t exist for the lower class. If the funds were obtained through a flat tax across the board, we wouldn’t have this problem. But the law, is the law. Until it’s changed, the government can’t...

Mark Douglas - How to think like a professional trader

Many ways, but here is one. You can estimate fair value based on historical stats, and then next trading session, span multiple orders across a spectrum based on those calculations. With today’s software and data quality, this is testable and tradable. Building a viable model and getting it...

Feel free to, but I’ve heard many sides to it. Never convinced of the benefit compared to a flat tax. I see it as a detriment :)

Inaccurate. Capital punishment to anyone trying to commit robbery which is what 100% inheritance tax is. Everyone just pay the same percentage and it’s fair. No egg counting or microscopic analysis.

I fully agree with this, but it should be a flat percentage tax on everything. Everyone simply pays the same. This way incentive to build still remains. I actually despise corporate tax loopholes, or any loophole for that matter. Same goes for bailouts. That’s the epitome of greed, and a slap...

I’m far from a political analyst, but it seems they have a weird way of equating sacrifice, hard work, and financial responsibility with greed.

These clowns here don’t understand that. It’s conmen sense.

Inheritance tax (all taxes really) should be flat percentage rate across the board. Whether you honestly earned a billion, or million is irrelevant.

So, there is actually a fairly large group of people who support a 100% inheritance tax, and they live and prosper in the US? This is worse than I thought. Eradication of this disease is mandatory.

Can you please stop beating around the bush and just answer the question? Let the ET community judge if you’re views are criminal, or not. I can assure you, the majority here would side with me on this.

    socialism in America.

You guys are starting to scare me. Do you seriously believe that honest hard working parents shouldn’t have a right to leave their assets to their spoiled lazy kids? Because it appears to be the implication here. Anyone who answers yes to that question should be executed at the lowest cost...

You and Sig are completely off your rockers on this issue. Furthermore, with this mentality of “giving your money away” neither of you have any business in the cut-throat game of speculation. People who donate in this business do it on a voluntary basis. It’s my opinion, but I respect your views...

I don’t know a simpler way to explain it to you. There is no moral justification for breaking into a law biding citizens house and emptying their safe. What part of theft don’t you understand?
