Was it more personal preference with the VB move, or are there fundemental differences/changes effecting ECHO? As a potential newbie, I'm trying to get some color on the situtation, sorting what may be interpersonal politics, firm issues, etc. Things that will help me shake out decisions. Thanks.

It would seem to me that this would be a great model for the prop shops. Low overhead, wouldn't need to pay high rent for office space, and you could potentially attract a wider range of traders if the system issues could be ironed out. Because let's face it, wouldn't it be great to live low...

Just wondering about the possibilty/feasability of a mobile trading setup ie- in an RV or Bus, etc. Are there satellite feeds that would work for this? Specifically, if you wanted to do a setup in an RV, or similar mobile situation, so that you could trade nationally while travelling across...

There Chicago Merc has a decent looking one for futures trading on their web page www.cme.com but it's not free. The fee is about $35 a month. Looks like it's a 90 day simulation (think it would be about $100 for the 3 mo. period). Thought it was worth a mention as it's real time and supposed...

Does anyone have a spreadsheet, formulas, or other Excel tools that work for paper trading? Trying to build a spreadsheet to automate the papertrading/tracking process. Would like to show the necessary info ie- beginning cash balance, commissions, purchase/sale, profit loss, account balace...

In regard to the market depth, does it work similarily to level II for Naz? Being new to eminis, can you hit the bid or the ask to buy or sell? Or how do you use this info in trading these contracts?

Htrader: It seems that many of the trades would have been at or near the last, as that is where the online simulation that I have been using reports the price. The $6 rountrip cc would be a significant improvement over the $30 roundtrip. Thanks for the feedback.
