Has anyone noticed the sharp rise in the stock lately for CME. Does anyone have suggestions as to whether short or go long? Just seems unusual to me to have that type of movement for a stock that merely represents an exchange.

Any type of "demise" for soros.. or his influence, will always be nonsense. Lets face it.. when he talks, people will listen. Esp currency traders. Deep inside he has to be laughing at his critics.. i know i would if i was him.

Tea, I couldn't agree more.. Why add liquidity to the futures markets with a 40% increase in taxes?

I am too confused about the 10 minute rule.. and foced liquidation. Why do you need 10 whole minutes? Maybe reduce it to 3-5 mins as a suggestion.

does anyone know if the tax gains cut is being considered in the senate bill? I know the house had a 5% reduction but all the focus in the senate it towards div cut.. but haven't heard a thing about cap gains cut.

but can you see if one person is trying to buy 100 contracts versus 10 people buying 10 contracts each.

When someone posts an order in Globex, is it different from an ECN in the sense no one can see each individual order? Or is there some level on Globex where the subscriber can see each order in a particular price level.
