Friday, March 15 the ActiveX interface could receive quotes but not place orders due to an upgrade to IB's browser version of TWS. The DDE version was working well. Gladly they have not killed off DDE yet...

I primarily trade futures, so I have no firsthand knowledge that Q_zecution will place stock orders. However, it simply uses the Excel worksheet provided by IB for stock and futures trading, so I would assume that whatever one can trade from the worksheet can be automated.

I am still using the Q_zecution macro(DDE) to automatically place orders from TS6.0 to IB's Traderworkstation for the nq's. I see however that IB has removed all reference to it on their website.

Have tweaked the IB workbook to automatically take orders from Tradestation (any version) and place them for execution on IB traderworkstation. Email for a copy. I expect an email back with any improvements !! :-)
