nasdaq vs nyse(important...too me at least)

Why either or. Have a core group with some in a few main sectors on each and go where the action is at the moment be it short or longer term. More important to me that sufficient volume be present and that intraday trading patterns on my stocks be resonable and not too random.

    Pair for KLAC

I trade KLAC and QLGC as a pair. Range of late KLAC over QLGC by 5 to KLAC under QLGC by 2. Mostly intraday, just let the analysts talk, wait for relationship to bend and go the other way when extremes are met and trend starts to flip. God bless analysts for being so inept and for those who...

Anyone using Bollinger Bands to make money?

I use them in conjunction with other things, but only when squeezes occur and when bands change trend and start to consolidate at either extreme.

    Another Sunday, more red futures

I find it much easier to trade day to day, overnite positions based on a nice chart always seem to run into news, earnings, analyst comments(though I cant believe anyone would listen to any of these people). Lifew has become very simple just daytrading nice range stocks and going home flat.

    KLAC short squeeze

One of my core stocks so I'll pass along what my chart said. ADX, my key indicator, at extreme level about 1 PM. Extreme ADX and wide differential DI- and DI+. When they subsided a few green candles pointed to a trend reversal which resulted in a nice long play(for a short term trade). Works...

    Who's got the best training?

The best stock training, especially for this market, is at Daytrading University. This guy is good and I have no connection to him. His system is very good, keeps you out of dubious setups and produces winners every single day. And he instructs all day, every day.

    what is your top-ten stocks-list ?

I utilize ATR to filter out stocks with less than range of 1.5 per day. My minimum volume is 2 million/day. ERTS is my current favorite because of its range and predictability. My approach is very simple and utilizes only 2 days of info, today and yesterday. No overnite positions until a stock...

    Recovering from a bad trade

Having done this for 30 years, mainly in futures, I'll pass on the only thing that has stuck with me all this time. Set your trading rules and never violate them, particularly stop rules. If you have an opinion about a stock or future, it must be verified by what the market is doing. My biggest...
