    Moving Averages-simple or exponential

Have changed my moving averages from one to other lots of times, mainly based on comments from trading sites I respect. Just curious if others have gone through similar experience and what results have been. My own tend to favor exponential, but not a decisive edge. My trading tends to be...

    Trading with price action

I've had very good success lately trading simply off price action using only M and W formations along with just data from previous day. The only indicator I use with this is ADX which I have grown to find useful for verification. Basically watch 10 stocks to see what thet do relative to previous...

Candles defining both price and volume

I wonder if any software offers real time candles which depict both price and volume characteristics in a single candle? Say candle width determined by volume relative to other time periods. Seems like pretty valuable info could be had by such a tool but I haven't seen it in my wanderings.

    Real Tick real bad

I am absolutely sick of RT and these early morning problems. For about the tenth tome, open causes the damn thing to freeze, disconnect, everything, and esignal sits next to it purry along. If anybody from RT has an answer to this, please send me info on how to do it with a PM. I"m gone for a...

    Oz Scanner

Oz does require RT and I believe trade prospector requires Q charts so here I am with esignal. I do have RT as well as esignal but it has been so irritating of late with exremely slow data that I feel like getting rid of it and my broker who supplies it. Such is life I guess.

Reccomend a NASDAQ live trading chat

I used Daytrading University when I first got started. I found it to be a good place to start, lots of educational seminars and reasonably priced.

    Oz Scanner

The two scans come up with a few successful trades every week which is what I am looking for. Criteria used, unusual volume, is the most important to me. Doesn't give you a price target which to me is a negative for traders, I like to determine that myself based on what I see in recent movement...

I find the skyscraper and bottomfisher to be pretty good. I'm down to those two only after watching them all for a bit.

    Real Tick real bad

RT constantly a problem of late. Charts, as I switch stocks, take forever and level 2 generally has bids higher than offers when market gets busy. I also use esignal which just purrs along as I fumble with this damn RT. Gotta fix or I'm going to dump it.

Leasing a seat on the CBOT or CME

I do think stock is doing ok for that reason plus the fact that the exchange is going to pay out I believe 20% of earnings in dividends.

Leasing a seat on the CBOT or CME

I lease my IMM seat and have gone to electronic trading for a number of reasons. First, standing in the pit and trading is for the young and it helps if your nine feet tall. I was in the eurodollar pit, the most active contract around and it offers everyone kind of trading from scalping to...

    sector and market adjusted TA

I've been looking at this for many months now and have found a fairly simple, but effective way to trade them. I have a pair in three sectors; bios, software and semis. I come into each day with no bias, that helps. Opinions can get you slaughtered, especially in the Bio sector. I note the...
