Bombshell •China Faces `Unprecedented Difficulties' in Attracting Foreign Investment

Came back from a visit to China three weeks ago. From what I saw and what was told by friends, the stimulus package is really having a big impact in China, whereas in US it is still missing-in-action. Will the stimulus last? No one knows for sure, as it depends on also many other factors.

Journey from investment bank to independent automated trader

I will cheer for you. I also work for a financial company (buy-side) that has been hit hard by the credit crisis, and I feel that my life has been wasted. Plus, since the crisis, the politics has been getting worse, as people realized that there will be fewer positions down the road.

    Is DeSantis ugrateful?

AIG FP has many lines of business, many of them just arb the firm's AAA rating. DeSantis probably has nothing to do with the cds, if he is not the original traders and not one of the risk-managers oveseeing the cds book.
