    Spoos and NQ vertical

It seems more like time to take some profits after a nice rally. These rallies have become short-lived.

    reading the tape

Makes you wonder how many tape readers are out there. It seems that in this world of computers and technical analysis most traders are computer trading experts. I wonder how many people trade base on reading the tape?

    All indicators useless?

Not only newer traders. I watch price and price relationships mostly. When I use an indicator I only use three. :)

    Spoos and NQ vertical

I don't think so. Look out because some of them could be coming out of hibernation soon.

what SSF trades closest to the S&P 500?

There is no advantage in that strategy yet, because of the lack of liquidity in SSF's.

Are dual processor machines necessary ?

If the machine is running hard for that long, there are some software issues. Normally the activity of the computer should correspond to the activity of the market. When the market is active and volatile your machine may get as high as 50 percent, not much more. But when the market is...

Are dual processor machines necessary ?

When I have researched dual processor machines all of the findings point out the fact that the second processor only adds 10 - 30 percent of improvement. Therefore I think that percentage improvement is not worth the doubled price.

    nq short.

Keep that strategy up and you'll be whipsawed to death. Is a short or not? If so, then get short. If you're stopped out ... then, oh well ... :p

    The Dawg Pound

How is it that you had not one but two nice setups but managed to get only 2pts out of the deal. According to your attached chart I see at least 3pts on the first rocket and five points on the second rocket signals. Fill me in dude?

Are dual processor machines necessary ?

Why not have a separate computer designated for processor intensive functions? If you as a trader know that you need to do complex simulations or extensive number crunching; why not dedicate one computer to handle those tasks while you otherwise keep other trading operations, charting software...
