I hope there's no personal vendetta? You sound rather bitter! This thread wasn't created for you. I set it up to post my picks as I trade. I guess you can start a thread for your option plays.

I'm keenly following this thread and recent developments...my preoccupation now is to find trending stocks...the market seems to be dragging "all" with it! My thought on VZ: The trend is in bearish mode yet dangerous as it could rally. The intraday chart is suggesting a brief bullish move...

Pinabetal, ...I could have held on to BBY trade but had to swallow my pride to avoid, foremost, waste of time as I might have to hold forever to see BBY climb to 48. The stock is likely to get there before expiration but might take some time, I just decided to save my fund for better trades...

Unfortunately, 8 out of 10 traders remember their rules after trade has gone awry. I'll be more careful next time.

Iceman, I got his point and he's right! Consider this: A position initiated at $1.80+ when stock was at-the-money and with less than 30 days to expiration. If the stock had climbed up, it would have taken about $3 - $4 move to even out time value, otherwise the position would break-even at...

Even though I'm out of BBY, the trade did not break my rule as I stated yesterday that a drop to 44.50 would not cause any problem. However, it dawned on me that a drop below 45 is OTM and considering that time decay will set in should the stock fail to climb back to $45, so I had to close...

Iceman, sorry for missing your previous question on NIHD. I came across your question... NIHD is dicey! The weekly chart is not looking promising. This stock could fly up or break down. Any fundamental reason why NIHD should be considered?

The price is likely to climb up to 45.50 before the week runs out. The weekly chart suggest that there's very low probability that BBY would drop to its last week close.

Reason for bailing out: This is the first time my trade would move from ITM to OTM territory. I don't want to deal with time decay!

Exit target is open, at least for now. Stop loss is somewhat difficult to set at the moment because if the stock should retrace, it shouldn't be more than 0.70 before it takes off again. I have my eyes on the intraday. A dip to 44.50 won't cause any hoopla! Yes! The trade should not last more...
