Nice buy off the daily A down level in LCC. Ready for takeoff? I took a little there, but I'd like to see it above the weekly/monthly today or tomorrow. Good chance it's today.

A blast from the past... (early May) LCC still looking good here. Nice point of reference too, right off the monthly A down, while above the quarterly A up.

Man, just going over my weekly data to prep for this coming week. I think we talked about this here, but there was some stabilization Friday in a few sectors, (XRT, XHB). But look at the mess that was VNQ last week! Quarterly A up to the Quarterly A down! Purple - Qtr Blue - Weekly...

Shan's right. While we're probably close to a bounce, it's pretty likely we don't see a great June. It'll take new quarterly levels in July before we can get moving to the upside again really. Just my opinion...

Ugh, yeah. Banks, tech, energy. Coming into this week my multi-week swing line was telling me that XLY was gonna stink up the joint, (I was kinda hesitant given retail and select consumer discretionary has held in ok) nope. They're selling everything... except nat gas and bonds.

Yep, after they took out my yearly OR high with conviction, I was looking lower at OR low... In other news, my horoscope said the correction will last until early July! Yep, weird, I know, but my horoscope also said that this week was the beginning of a crappy 6 week period, and July is the...

Funny, thought the same when I saw "Off the Charts" today, lol. Cramer's getting short? Bottom We'll see. I'm still thinking something happens in that OR for the SPY, (probably about lines up with the 525 call in AAPL). Now, something interesting I happened upon today...

Yeah, seeing -3's today and some -4's sure didn't make me feel too bullish rhrn. Maybe we finally get some type of tradeable bounce on the other side of this move down?

I can't speak to the financial implications, but it's not in the European ethos to allow Greece to leave. I am not saying they won't, and I know the situation is INSANE, but given the historical/cultural practices of Europe, despite almost utter despair it just isn't a given that Greece will...

NG is putting in a failed weekly A down for me here. I don't buy weekly swings on Mondays, so I'm passing for now, we'll see what we get tomorrow.

Don't typically look there because of headline risk, but makes sense when you consider the patent cliff that was faced last year/this year in the health care industry. In order to off-set, bio tech should have a good year of innovation to fill the loss of patents.

Yeah, looking a little better. LULU off that monthly again.

    The ACD Method

Hey Mav, This is interesting. I totally see how the larger the number, the greater the chop, but while I understand that a lower number would provide more follow through, I'm confused as to how a lower number would imply more vol. Don't mean to pry too much, but any of your thoughts with...

    The ACD Method

Just my opinion, but I think the larger time-frame method is valid so long as you take each trade that your method lays out for you, (in order to replicate frequency as much as possible). In The Logical Trader Fisher says that when something happens on a certain time-frame, it's valid, but...

LOVE Peter Brandt's work. Read his blog every day, (or at least when he updates it). He was very active last year until there was a nasty little misunderstanding between him and a poster on his site. http://peterlbrandt.com/ Much of the foundation of my trading, (including such Peterisms...
