Totally agree Shan. There is almost no reason for us to have moved like this. The trend has been sell the close, today we did not sell the close. The one exception to this trend was two weeks ago when we finally had that oversold bounce. If we were going to fail, we had every chance to do...

So here's something that I just find interesting, but not necessarily significant. If the SPY didn't make another high or low today and continued to trade in this range here, my monthly A up and monthly A down for June would be my OR for the year. I use a wider OR than most that I know of...

Not much volume really either considering the break of "traditional" support here on the S&P, DJIA, and Nasdaq. ... that is, if volume even really matters any more...

Great point, and I think it begs the question, what happens when/if the Fed decides to decrease it's balance sheet?

Could be a big move there too. It's been giving me signals both ways, but this move and the level it's been clinging to were off my quarterly A down. I'll be interested in seeing what happens after we have a monthly level today.

Yep, seeing some things work a bit. Homebuilders off their lows, also been in some of those discount retailers, FDO, WMT, TJX. All did decent in this mornings pull in.

One of the things that struck me here was how uncommon the idea of taking profits along the way could be to the average investor/trader. In general, great find here Shan. I'll be interested to check out the book. Especially the interview with the trader that his son worked with.

Nice move in that LCC. Failed the monthly A down Friday/Monday, and plowed right through the monthly A up yesterday/today. Nice

Guess there's still some hope for a bounce this week. Thought the market was going to be in for it when the weekly a ups didn't seemingly hold yesterday, and here we bounce in the weekly OR in the S&P. Guess the trend continues to be "we'll see," and "the next (day/week) will be important."

Still like that short gold trade. Wouldn't necessarily enter here though. Looking to see what happens here as it tests my yearly level. 146.89 in GLD. It bounced down here last week, but not looking so hot this week.

Despite my every attempt t tell myself not to try and get long anything, I still find myself liking this RGC. May be one to keep an eye on here, (might not do a thing on earth).

Yeah, saw it but couldn't participate. I can only enter orders between 9:30 and 4 on my platform. My entry would have been just about 9am est if I remember correctly.
