Should I panic about my short position on Apple calls?

The original post is a fraud. It would take 1.5mm of BP risk margin to naked sell 90 AAPL calls. It was fun while it lasted, but it would take an moron to the max to execute this trade with tons of free capital.

Should I panic about my short position on Apple calls?

I can't get off the floor laughing. In sincerity, try trading the deep in the money calls to neutralize this disaster. The March 455's have little premium and move well in the AAPL trend which is strongly up.

In at 28.4. Got a slice of YG, missed the better pivot entry, settle for what I got.

I've been holding this spread with 2*IWM, adds risk, but haven't needed to do any trading with it except balance it when the markets consolidate and bang hard on it when it starts ripping up. Full credit to maverick for posting this spread a few months ago, makes live a bit easier.

You can be sure Fisher has algos for these, but it doesn't matter. Use the lines for what they are intended to be, reference prices.

I have actually done that, but it was one day in 10 years where I was so close to zero, traded my way to zero just to doit.

Well, we will see in the morning. I just had to also grab some 13 puts today when I read the thread. Not huge, a taste.

DD cahrt atttached. I use charts with ACD and a second with Camarrilo pivots. Attached is the pivot chart. Solid line is todays pivot, hashes are support and resistance. The pivots show the mean reversion, entry above the pivot, and no reason to exit all day long. I've never attached to a...

Fortunately, yes. Hedged, but an open at 110 tomorrow will make a nice day.

A last entry on this. 1. They have customers, i don't. Trade my own money. I am prop for the leverage, 95% of profits aree mine for that 10:1, I only need to have 200K BP unless trading spreads with size, and I get a good 'risk' deal on that. 2. They have trading meetings. I have a...

I don't know why or their goals. Perhaps hidden in there is the why. I trade my method, have different goals than most (I don't know another technology VP that works and trades actively). The hous required for me to make money trading is less than a hedgy, very simple. Now that my trade...

I like the devil's advocate, my answer is simple. I am well above the zero risk, and appproaching my salary with my trading. I do this so I can save much faster and leave the suit behind. On current pace, I am 3 years away from accomplishing this very important goal. As for family time, I...

I see in agrrement with Maverick to a degree. I work full time at a job which pays welll in 6 figures, and trade to get out of that rut. I only trade the 2.5 most productive hours of the day, but put at least 2-3 hours homework in to prepare for this short period so I have my decisions on what...
