i could use a disseration or two.. however im thinking about more of a trend following approach such as ma crosses on daily charts (forex)

for you guys swingtrading for a day to a month.. what size of initial stop losses do you use? what is regular size noise ? how far do you stay behind the bid/ask to prevent being stopped out but still reducing risk while staying in the trend?

you mean how low the yields have to be to sell your bond ( or borrow USD from a bank), exchange it into foreign currency and buy a foreign bond? conversely what levels should we look for for foreign investment into the American bond market (currency carry trade)?

i dont even need realtime ... and i can find the EOD values for ASCII download.. i would just like some intraday data

but what about getting the data behind those charts in ASCII format? specifically 30 min info on the bonds? pay only? or is there a site that allows downloads of the data?
