How do I turn a $1000 trade to $100,000 within a year instead of 10 years?

This is a very good exercise to do, before you start trading size. Basically you make 10% or more net per day trading ATM spy puts and calls. I takes 13-14 weeks to complete. You can take the rest of the year to think if you are going to go for $1 million from $10,000, or not.

The proper stop size for a long position in a $45 product is $135... Geez.

I can't get anything similar with less than 3 strikes and 5 legs. I'm sure his broker makes money.

Thanks mushin. I think the structure is N diagonals on the left, M calendars in the middle, and X calls on the right. With M < N, and X to overcompensate and get the upward slope on the right. I like the limited risk and the potentially very high ROI, if one can half-guess direction.

    Crude is screwed, man.

Sometimes the backpropagation of the echo of the forward meander, interferes temporarily with the correlation. Good zebras come to those crocs who are stubborn. Who is going to bid for the portfolios of the Qatar Royal Family?.

Monday on the close, and after the adjust on Tuesday. I think the adjust is an added calendar or diagonal, or a partial exit of the lower price diagonal.

    Training for Mass

Not that you need to know, but SEAL Team 6 was dissolved in 1987. You would never guess why. Not even close. End of transmission.

And this post closes the latest experiment on philanthropy and its effect on the giver and unworthy takers. Always remember to kill the messenger, never mind the message. :)

    Training for Mass

If you are interested in the effects on a man's ego when faced with a woman with superior intelligence/info/wisdom/performance, then research the recent tweets by Aly Raisman (sp?), in a recent incident with a redneck at an airport. I'm not interested in fruitless discussions. I guess my ego...

    Training for Mass

I remember reading the papers online free from NASA published papers. I guess google can help you. I can print the following summary from memory, but the research is very detailed, and the adaptations for every individual are the real juice. Basically you first train for mass, by doing a lot of...

    Training for Mass

I suggest reading NASA's research on physiology and exercise, where all the 5 different basic training programs are discussed in depth: Training for mass, for endurance, for strength, and for performance. And how to adjust for individual physiologies. It pays to read the people that have...

Living on a boat and avoiding taxes

Everything can be done, at a price. Taxes are always optional, the thing is everybody wants to pay no premium for the option. For example George Soros, lives in NY, pays almost no taxes in % terms, makes billions offshore. All legally. If you are ready, willing and able, to cross into the...

In search of the 3rd chord... I mean leg

If you sell front expiries, and buy back expiries, you get closer to your goal. Think of it as a condor-shaped double diagonal. At some point, after time passes and/or price moves, you can introduce the 'magical 3rd leg'. An art, with some science. And the commissions are a large % of the ROI.
