Awww... Only available to us residents? Missed that in the fine print?

It's great if I decided to change away from an active trader to long term buy and hold. Don't have to worry about account minimums, account maintenance fees, etc. It sucks to only be able to switch back and forth once a quarter though.

I don't think there will be level 2 or time and sales

I believe commissions will still be on futures. So yeah I guess. But the no desktop platform is a big hold for me that will keep me on the "pro" account.

Latest TWS update 977.3e seems to have resolved the x100 issue. Still waiting for support to get back to me about the Block filtering not working and Time and Sales sometimes laggging/falling behind

I never contacted them about the issue because frankely I was too lazy and didn't have that many alerts setup. But its for sure annoying. Please update with what they say.

It definitely has something to do with how IB does burst data consolidated to r updates per second. But still. Being able to simply print time and sales in a clean manner isn't something that should still be an issue

There is this too for sure. When I asked IB support about this they said they know about it. And they don't know why. And they didn't seem too keen on trying to fix it

This is another part of the Time and Sales that sucks with IB. It Will show green or red on the first tick that hits the ask or bid. But on every subsequent tick that hits the ask or bid it'll show white. Not sure the logic here, guess because its not showing a new high (or low) tick...but...

You're totally stretching here. Believing 1 million share block trades are nothing unusual. Believe me. The 10,000x100 isn't a million shares. You can see also by the fact that the stats will show for the stock at the end of the day that a million shares weren't even traded or that total...

I have contacted support before. But sure...I'll start a new ticket. But this isn't something new. Its been mentioned in the "features request board" on IB's site...which is a joke. So many duplicate basic requests that nobody seems to pay attention to. You can see it above in the other...

That is not what it means. You know this because you'll see 10,000x100 show up on time and sales. That would be a 1 million share block. Which is crazy for any stock. Let alone one that trades that volume in a given day or even on a stock that absolutely doesn't trade that volume in a day And...

They did some weird updates today. Noticed a couple visual changes. Some that broke stuff for me. Or made changes I don't like. I've stopped trying to understand IB's software logic

There is no stop loss with automatic size adjustment. You need to have multiple stops

We all know IB's Time and Sales is bunk. But today they "fixed" a messed up part of it only to ruin another fix. First issue was that the time and sales window didn't remember your column preferences...so if you had custom widths and configurations you'd have to re-adjust them every morning...

They did something that erased people's alerts, AND also stopped people getting their trade notifications. Gotta write them back and let them know they confused your issue

I haven't reached out to IB cause I'm just tired of dealing with their support who never really solves problems and just has to forward it to people somewhere who actually can... OnIy to never hear back and problem never fixed I also haven't been receiving text notifications for traded
