    Word of notice. If you get it, make sure IB deposit the shares before IBKR start trading. This is the first time they are doing this, so I have no idea how fast it will show up in your account. Incase, you want to flip it for a quick profit or flip it to cut loss.

    If you are not trading, why open a foreign broker. Why not just get a local broker at where you are? When you need the money, a simple short visit to you local broker office.

    Don't compare this to GOOG. GOOG was leaded by big brokers. As for IBKR, it is lead by the worst one out there. Just look at past dutch auction IPO by WR Hambrecht. I don't recall IPO lead by WR Hambrecht did well at all.

    I thought if you file MTM or go through a prop house trading stocks only, your profit will be your regular income right. It does not show up as short term capital gain. Unless you are trading futures, which is break up into long and short term capital gains. Am I missing something
